Tri-Cities Chinese American Association was honored to receive the 2014 City of Richland Contribution to the Arts Award, in recognition of TCCAA’s ongoing efforts to educate local communities of Chinese arts and crafts, and to promote cross-culture communication.
Tri-Cities Chinese American Association was established in 1975. The mission of TCCAA is to improve the communication, to forge friendship among the members, to promote the Chinese American cultural exchange, and to help local communities have better understanding of Chinese society and Chinese culture. TCCAA has successfully organized different kinds of cultural activities in the past 40 years, including Asian American Awareness Month, Moon Festival celebration, Chinese New Year Gala, etc.
TCCAA would like to thank City of Richland, Richland Public Library, and Consulate-General of The People’s Republic of China in San Francisco, Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Seattle for their support over the years. Furthermore, TCCAA is extremely grateful for the help of Tri-Cities Chinese Alliance Church and Tri-Cities Chinese Language School. Most importantly, it would be impossible for TCCAA to make such an achievement without every member’s contribution.
