三镇中文学校“汉语桥”两名学生满载而归
转瞬间，为期半个月的“汉语桥”中学生夏令营活动已经结束一个多月了。三镇中文学校的两名学生也安然回到学校正常上课。但是每次提及此次夏令营，他们总是激动不已，难以忘怀。
“汉语桥”中学生夏令营活动是由中国汉办组织，每年暑期举办，为期半个月。主要为学生免费提供汉语课程、中国文化课程（如剪纸、书法、水墨画、茶艺、武术等）、丰富多彩的交流活动（中外学生联欢、住家体验等）及文化体验活动（游览历史名迹等）。
通过本次的夏令营活动，两名学生增进了和中国大陆学生的交流，加深了他们对中国语言文化的了解，激发了他们对汉语的学习热情。这也是“汉语桥”中学生夏令营的宗旨所在。期待下学年三镇中文学校有更多的学生参加夏令营活动！
Tri-Cities Chinese Language School summer students Experience in China (2014)
After one month, William Zhang and George Jiang are still excited about their summer camp on Mainland China, which is part of the Chinese Confucius Institute’s Bridge Program. They keep talking about it as one of their most unforgettable and memorable experiences.
This activity is organized by HANBAN, and usually held in summer for about one half month. Enjoying their fellow students and China, students experience cultural classes such as the art of paper cutting, calligraphy, water and ink painting, art of tea, and martial arts. They also attend big parties for Chinese and foreign students, homestay with local families, and excursions such as visiting the Great Wall.
According to the camp’s purpose, the two students improved their communication with other Chinesestudents and got a better understandingof the Chinese language and culture. Thus for each student, the program promotes further interest in Chinese language and cultural heritage.
TCCLS hopes more students will join the camp and get similar benefits next year!
