Invitation to The Fifth Asian American Awareness Month Reception and Cultural Performance

Dear friends,
This year, the theme of the Asian American Awareness Month is “Chinese Wedding Stories”. We cordially invite you to join us on May 17 for live performance of traditional Chinese Wedding rites, music and dance by our local groups. After the performance there will be Chinese papercutting (Jianzhi) hands-on demonstration by instructors from the Tri-Cities Chinese Language School (TCCLS). Snacks and drinks will also be served.
Officials from the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Seattle will be on site to discuss with you topics related to Chinese tradional culture, life and the world.

今年亚美意识月活动的主题是中国婚礼的故事。三镇华美协会将于5月17日下午2：00在Richland图书馆举行亚美意识月文化展招待会及演出，届时会有中国传统婚礼仪式、中国歌舞的表演，同时还为青少年及儿童安排了手工活动，以及美味的中国茶点。欢迎大家参加！
同时今年我们有幸邀请到驻西雅图台北经济文化办事处的两位官员亲临活动现场，表演结束后我们安排了简短的座谈会，您可以就您关心的问题与两位官员直接沟通。
